I never thought I would be here this soon

and yet here I sit

plowing through my hated

and most toxic past

at ease enough to create.

Months of painful preparation

bringing you to the fore-front

time and time again

but now here I sit

at ease with you

across from me.

A new love I have,

that forces you from me

like a horrid ex,

it's as if you don't exist.

to say goodbye

and move through
